This is a stylized depiction of an Airy function. Named after George Biddell Airy, this function is iconic in the realm of differential equations, with its ability to demonstrate how a physical system behaves when it transitions between wave-like behavior (oscillatory) and exponential behavior (decaying or growing).
We embody this function as we traverse our own systems of change and find ourselves in positions along our journeys to make choices that guide us to a future. At some point in our oscillations, we are met with a choice to engage in actions that allow us to grow or immerse us in decay. This turning point is ours to stand on, as well is the choice thereafter of which path to follow. Are you decaying or growing? Can it be both? What will you let rot? What will you nurture?
