Nebraska Women in STEM Conference Breakout Session - Intergenerational STEM: Fostering Creativity and Purpose

  • Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center 12520 Westport Parkway La Vista, NE, 68128 United States (map)

Often we respond to inquiries about our study of and engagement in STEM disciplines. Depending on the context, we offer varied responses. However at the root of it, where we are now is a progression of where we began. It started well before my children and my life as a child. Our parents and our environment, the people around us and their beliefs greatly impact our present and our futures. We live the lives that we choose. We have agency and power. There are multiple opportunities to encourage, influence and support multi-generational interests in STEM. We are eager to share what we have learned so far.
